Introducing the Yogi MCP Server: Consumer Intelligence in the AI Tools Where You Already Work

What if your team’s AI assistant – Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, or whatever your organization uses – could ask questions of your Voice of Customer (VOC) data to get the Yogi analysis your team already trusts?
That’s what our new Yogi MCP server makes possible. Available now, any MCP-compatible tool can query Yogi directly – surfacing verbatims, filtering by product, sentiment, and theme, and looking at trends across all of your ratings, review, social, and customer care data – bringing the power of our Ask Yogi AI chat right to the place your team already works. It’s customer intelligence made available to the wider organization vs. just those who use Yogi day-to-day, increasing the visibility and value of your work.
Not long ago, we launched Yogi’s AI Connectors, which let Yogi interact with live data from your Shopify, Asana, and monday.com accounts, as well as the web – bringing your wider business context into our VOC analysis. This new MCP server is the flip side of that: Yogi’s purpose-built intelligence tailored to your unique products and categories, flowing out to where your broader team already works. Together, they’re the foundation of something we’ve been passionately working toward: Yogi works where you work.
With the vast majority of organizations looking at initiatives to deepen their custom AI solutions to streamline work across the business, the problem hasn’t necessarily been the data. It’s been the distance.
Yogi has always been where unstructured consumer feedback across channels becomes something you can truly act on – product issues identified, sentiment measured, themes classified, trends surfaced to the top, all grounded in our CPG-specific product matching and taxonomy understanding. The teams who trust it pull and export Yogi data to inform exec meetings, shareouts, digests, and more. But when analysis happened outside of Yogi, VOC data was either pulled manually or, dangerously, left out entirely.
That gap can be costly as more teams attempt to build out their day-to-day workflows inside AI tools. When your colleagues are asking crucial questions in Claude and getting answers that pull from Shopify and other data sources all at once, Yogi’s VOC data simply must be a part of that conversation. The data exists, and our MCP server now removes any friction in accessing it conveniently and in context.
What’s Included?
The Yogi MCP server is available now in Claude (one click from Claude’s Connectors directory), ChatGPT, Codex, and others (our team is here to work with you on setting it up as needed).

🔍 Ask Yogi’s full analytical toolset
Verbatim retrieval, filter discovery, and aggregations across sentiment, themes, ratings, and volume – the same depth that powers our Ask Yogi AI, custom to your product catalog, callable directly from the AI tools your team uses. This isn’t a search-and-return of raw records. It’s Yogi’s product matching, taxonomy, and sentiment classification baked into grounded analysis vs. a data dump for Claude to figure out on its own.
🔐 Per-user OAuth 2.0 authentication
Security is always top of mind. Once the initial connection is setup by your admin, users authenticate with their existing Yogi credentials. Permissions will mirror their Yogi permissions exactly, meaning nothing reaches the AI that the user couldn’t already see in Yogi.
🏷️ Yogi traceability on every response
Tool calls carry Yogi’s logo, and all outputs link back to the actual charts, verbatim records, and feedback pages in Yogi for deeper, contextual follow-up work.
What This Looks Like in Practice
Consider a real prompt from an early Yogi user: “Look at last week’s sales in Shopify, paint a picture from the VOC issues we’re seeing in Yogi, and layer in contact rate percentage increases from our support tickets and calls.”
One prompt. Multiple data sources. One grounded answer – without opening a single additional tab or asking anyone on the team for an export.
That kind of synthesis used to require people manually pulling from various tools (if they had access to them), stitching it together, and translating it into a summary. Now it’s a single conversation. And it’s not limited to your VOC power users. Marketing, Retail, and Finance teams who might never log into Yogi on a typical day can now ask consumer feedback questions to the AI tool they’re already living in – no export, no CX bottleneck, no CSVs.
So, say goodbye to:
- Asking your Yogi power user to pull a summary right before a meeting
- Manually cross-referencing consumer feedback with sales and support data
- VOC data being mistakenly left out of the conversation
